There are even travelers that only come to Ecuador to see the Enchanted Islands. Why is it that countless people from all over the world have the dream to visit Galapagos? As I traveled to the Galapagos recently, I can give you 3 reasons&#8230;<\/strong><em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<h3>1. Breathtaking landscapes and <strong>well preserved wildlife<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>As it is well known, the Galapagos has a great nature. Numerous unique species inhabit the islands and they are well preserved by <em>Galapagos<\/em> residents. Thanks to Galapagos&#8217; strict rules to conserve the nature and living creatures, many animals such as <em>sea lions<\/em>, <em>marine iguanas<\/em>, <em>blue-foot boobies<\/em>, <em>lava lizards<\/em> and many other species can live in a nature paradise! Galapagos is the place where <em><strong>Charles Darwin<\/strong><\/em> got the inspiration for his masterpiece on the <em>evolution theory<\/em> &#8220;<em><strong>The Origin of Species<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;. When you visit the Galapagos for yourself you will probably understand why Charles Darwin was so inspired! Besides great landscapes and wildlife the seawater is very clear and gives you the feeling that you are swimming with sea life in a gigantic aquarium.<\/p>\n<h3>2. <strong>Being away from technology makes for unforgettable memories with loved ones<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Nowadays, we are slaves of technology such as our smartphones that we from the moment we wake up until we go to bed. Sometimes it is better to leave all tech-savvy tools behind and try to focus on making memories with people who you love and care! If you travel <em>the Galapagos<\/em> on a <em><strong>cruise<\/strong><\/em>, you will be disconnected from all internet access for the duration of the cruise. The WiFi connection in most hotels is also not as good as you are used to. Instead, use your phone to make some great photos and enjoy every moment consciously! Give full attention to whomever you are <em>traveling<\/em> with in this special place on earth.<\/p>\n<h3>3. <strong>A perfect active holiday destination<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Hiking<\/em>, <em>snorkeling<\/em> and <em>kayaking<\/em>&#8230; Although the visitor&#8217;s sites of Galapagos are already super exciting in themselves, the way to explore them is also worth mentioning! Having been a full week cruise I can tell that every day was filled with fun <em><strong>outdoor activities<\/strong><\/em>. Even though I was tired at the end of every day, I couldn&#8217;t wait for the next opportunity to go exploring again! If you like to be active, the Galapagos is definitely for you!<\/p>\n<p>A lot of travelers say that they would like to visit Galapagos at least once their lives. Well, I must say that Galapagos definitely exceeded my expectations!
